Villa Chateaufavier - Shared workshops
Villa Chateaufavier – the shared workshops – is a prototyping and small-scale production space specializing in wool. Located in the heart of the Aubusson-Felletin region, Villa Chateaufavier is a place dedicated to welcoming and supporting creators, designers, and professionals in the arts, helping them create and develop their activities related to textile art and woven art. This heritage building, fully renovated by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Creuse, houses workshops and offers its residents shared services and personalized support led by Lainamac. The workshops are open to textile professionals seeking specific equipment to realize their projects. They also serve as a meeting and collaboration space at the heart of the Aubusson-Felletin textile art/woven art ecosystem. Born from a collective initiative between public and private stakeholders, and close to the International Tapestry City, Villa Chateaufavier is fully integrated into the local textile creation ecosystem.
