Between art, design, and architecture, "Bina Baitel fosters experimentation to transform concepts into objects and spaces. (…) The designer questions our relationships and interactions with the objects around us. She explores their common codes to propose concepts with strong inspirations in which uses and allegories confront each other" (Studio Baitel).

Bina Baitel worked on a series of objects evoking drips of materials such as leather or mirrors. Her tapestry follows this same idea, with a woven lake flowing from two pieces of furniture. This micro-landscape refers to the ancient verdure tapestries of Aubusson from the 17th and 18th centuries and the numerous identity ponds in the landscapes of Creuse. The pattern evokes a topographical map. The designer conceived the tapestry as a place, a living space, referencing the Eastern use of rugs for sitting and sharing moments of conviviality.
